DUNE architects is an architecture practice founded by Dex Weel.

Growing up on the coast, the relationship between architecture and landscape has become a recurring theme in my projects. During and after my studies at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, I worked at practices including MVRDV and NL Architects.

With DUNE, I design clear, contemporary architecture centred around space, light and material. Each design grows from the specific qualities of its context and the ambitions of the client.From homes and extensions to transformations and new-build projects, the aim is to create architecture that becomes a natural part of its surroundings.
